Several streets will be closed for the Coast Guard Festival Parade and fireworks on Saturday, Aug. 2.

GRAND HAVEN, MI — Several streets will be closed for the Coast Guard Festival Parade and fireworks on Saturday, Aug. 2.

The Meijer Grand Parade is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. Saturday, while the fireworks show is set for dusk.

According to a press release issued from the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety, parade participants will be stationed in the residential area near Lakeshore Middle School, located on 900 S. Cutler St.

Streets within a two-block radius will be closed, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday....

WEST MICHIGAN – Mercy Health has established a regional board to oversee its hospitals in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, the health system announced Tuesday, July 29.

The new board is the latest in a series of steps bringing together Mercy Health Saint Mary’s in Grand Rapids and Mercy Health Muskegon into one unified, regional organization.
