The roughly 40-minute interview, conducted by Michigan State University Police Detective Sgt. Andrea Munford, was shown during Nassar's preliminary examination in the 55th District Court.

In an August 2016 interview with police, Dr. Larry Nassar was comfortable describing how and why he conducted pelvic floor procedures on his patients.

Officials say they're working to prevent future escapes.

 

MUSKEGON, MI - Muskegon Heights Police on Thursday afternoon apprehended a teenager who had been on the loose for four days after escaping a detention center.

"Yes, he was recaptured today by Muskegon Heights law enforcement," Muskegon County Circuit Court Administrator Sandra Vanderhyde said Thursday.

Aquae Keyes, 14, escaped the Muskegon Circuit Court's Juvenile Detention Center between 10 p.m. and midnight on Sunday, June 23. Another 14-year-old lodged in the center attempted to escape at that time but didn't succeed.
